Hey dude. Its a bitch to remove. The stuff that the previous owner put on the windows was like a DIY window tint, so i can imagine the professional stuff would be alot harder to remove.
It took me a few days trying to remove all of it from my rear window. Using a small sharp stanley knife blade & some white spirit & various chemicals. Be careful of the metal strips on rear window.
I ended up buying two new side windows as i couldnt be hassled with doing the same to them :p

i used a stanly knife blade for mine and was very easy!
use the blade flat against the window to peel the edge and when you get a good edge just pull it slowly

may sound stupid but petrol and a stanley blade just dont smoke in the car for a while :haha::haha: works tho

I used a heat gun to loosen them, then used a plastic scrapped/white spirit to get the stickyness from the window - don't use heat-gun + white spirit at same idea, probably not the greatest idea lols D:

I used flash or mr muscle once, weakened the glue and cleaned the glue off

all good advice. i used glass cleaner with acetone mixed in.
get the edge an peel off the tint. it may be hard and VERY noisy.
glue should be left back on the glass. i had a towel spread out at the bottom
of the glass and opened the rear glasses an spread the towel there as well.
used the windex mix and wet the glue and it should turn white.
use the blade and scrap off the glue cleaning the blade each time.
keep the glue wet at all times. it would be easier.
no.1 tip......use a continuous stroke when taking off the glue.
like a barber cutting hair, start at one side and follow straight through.
using short strokes 'chipping away' at the glue caused scratches on my glass

adhesive remover, comes in a little tin, to get the crappy clue of the window, and a stanley to get the actual tint off work for me

i used a hair dryer and heated the tinted.... and removed them with no problems. but then there will be a lot of glue.. but you can clean that with wd40 window cleaner / some spirit etc
