It's great we have RHDJapan on the site now, I have have used their site for a couple of years now and love the large selection or rare and unusual parts on offer. With a discount its a bonus.

One of the main points for me is their customer care, which is 1st class, and email replies are fast and informative (considering they are in Japan in a different zone).

I had a drama with a Zep racing rail with them (it had been discontinued) RHDJapan were fantastic with their communications and sorted it very quickly considering they are in another part of the world! Highly recommend them :D think i will be using the 6% discount! Well done guys!

how can we work out how much we pay in fees on top of the auction price?

This information can be found in the FAQ section of the site:

1. What fees does bidJDM charge?

There are no fees to bid on auctions but you must pay your bid price upfront before bidding. You will have to pay to bid but if you do not win the auction your account with bidJDM will be credited for the amount you bid so you can bid on other auctions or raise your bid on that particular auction you were out bid on. If you win an auction there are 2 fees you have to pay plus the shipping of your won auction to your country. The two fees are;

1. The final ending bid fee. This is a percentage fee taken from the final auction price. The percentage will depend on the category the auction item is listed under and can be found on each auction page when you click "Bid Now".

2. The size handling fee. This fee is based on the size or weight (whichever is larger) of the item and the location the seller is shipping the item from. This chart can be found on each auction page when you click the "Handling Fee" button and you will be able to very accurately determine how large the item is from the pictures and figure out what this fee will be before bidding.
