Been working on uprated valve springs for a while now and they are finally available after testing........will rev between 8k-10k rpm........it was made from using the cruise model springs......testing was done on one of our race cars and was revved up to 8500 rpm.......quality and strenght is excellent..also made from the same material as cruise springs......

retail price is 80 gbp shipped......if there is enough interest for 10 members in the month of december i can do a grp buy at a price of 70 gbp shipped...

cruise sells for 125 gbp so its alot of saving for the product which will do the same thing...

Are the springs a direct fit or are there adjustments to be made.

Also once springs are installed do I just increase the rev limit and away I go or does head have to be ported or something like that run the higher revs safely.

these springs are a direct fit

pple reving high usually have uprated rods which is one of the main parts needed and uprated cams.........the head doesnt have to be ported but rods are usually an important factor when revving high.........these springs are here for safety purposes becuz the stock ones when compared to this is weak and can cause valve float

So these will give 8k-10k rpm on a starlet? As you said they were tested on your race cars.

Is it the management you use to change the rev limit?

What do you suggest for daily driving?

What do you suggest at track?

we had a stand alone ecu...couple of runs to 10 k rpm but we set it at 8500 rpm for the track.... daily u dont really want to trash ur engine all the time so 75-7800 rpm daily is ok

I´m happy to use them at 8500rpm..

9000rpm was tested and works fine.

I use Red-Line 5W/30 performance oil.
