air filters? is there a diffrence.

quick question, fitted my own relocation kit awhile back but thinkin of changing my blitz filter, is there a diffrence between cheap ones? i cant see there being 1, i wanted something abit brighter also so u ca notice it behind the grill lol :) advice please

I had a cheap cone filter in the front grille for a while and when I changed it for an Apexi filter I did notice a
Bit of difference, I don't Know if it was just in my head but the car seemed to pull a bit better. But with something like an airfilter it's personal preferance really IMO.

i used a cone fitler before after i get tired of looking at it i changed to hks mushroom filter i felt a slight difference on the way the turbo spools.

There shouldnt be a difference,not noticable anyhow unless it just a poor design,the apexi etc are a good design and proper research went into them.

i have a HKS on on atm up top and bought a Apexi one to use when i get the relocation goes on

i have a HKS mushroom filter and i think its ace, especially if your front mounting it for ram air. you can get them pretty cheap as well if you look around

the advantage of having a mushroom filter is that you can easily squeeze it on tight spaces

I have a blitz sus relocated to behind the front grill;) Works a treat and sounds insane on boost!!!:cool:
