not necessarily hard modded mate... just rag the shit outa your car from a while and get those temps up :)

when i say rag i mean hard rev all the way to the end.... it gets really hot....

if u noticed later he removed the 2nd bov.. its not used with little boost but on some huge boost or twin turbo cars its not uncommon to use more than one bov... sure its weird but the theory goes if one doesnt cope... add another :p lol

the mesh looks cool is it off a siv ? lol and does it damage your engine not having a filter what about all the dust and stuff that gets sucked in ?

naah, its actually a piece of stainless mesh.. u buy a whole roll, very poppular here, although a sieve is a good idea... well never had any probs *touch wood* sure a bit of dust gets in but thats what ur oil filter is there for lol..

i change my oil every 2000kms so not really a problem :)

also i dont drive the car in the rain since positioning the turbo where it is.. iv had mesh on my car on 9 different turbos to date in the past 4 years.. none of them ever went bad :D

i do plan on makin a kinky airbox though soon ;) but thats another story :cool:

I am from Jamaica and well this is my engine a freshly imported 4efte its suppose to go into my Toyota GT Starlet (ep82)its bone stock except for the silicone hoses, BOV and painted rocker cover which i am going to change soon because i cracked it.

what do u guys think of it, i might upgrage to a td04 turbo, with 5e conververted manifold, 390cc, fmic, 2 1/2 straight exhaust...... plus i am at this time going to port and polish the cylinder head myself

Nah, 4x individual bosch coils with built in ignitors run off an autronic CDi unit. Inlet is a custom job. Larger plenum on std runners. Was after more midrange so opted for this over my previous mani.
