Would you use them again : NO. the guy seemed very helpful at the time, once i had left though while cruising around i found that if i hit 1bar before 3500rpm i would hit fuel cut, after a phone call to him he was not much help, and basically fobbed me off.

also he seemed to rush the tuning of my car maybe it was just me.

my mate also got his mini tuned there and the guy didnt even touch the fuelling. the car runs to lean on idle, and on boost it runs waaaaayyyy to rich, his A/F ratio was 9.2, that is waaayy to rich and he is suffering from bore wash, and on a mini it's even worse than on a normal car to suffer from that, as the gearbox uses the same oil as the engine. so it wouldnt be just the engine thats gets fucked by the fuel breaking down the oil, it would be the gearbox to.

my mate then proceeded to phone him up about it, and he was very arsy and arrogant on the phone, and tried to blame it on my mate for playing around with the fuel mixture. a right flipping knob, and beware.

Marks out of ten (over all rating) : 1 -dont even offer a afr check on 50 quid power run- but give them 150 quid and they will do a 'health check' on your engine(as if you couldnt do it yourself!) and include an afr check

Would you use them again : No - manual boost controller came loose(as i found out later) and it would only boost to 7psi on the power run- they just said my engine or turbo must be fucked. not interested in the slightest, why did i go?!

Would you use them again : yes i definately will. very very happy with my results on the rolling road considering all my problems, and they make sure the engine will produce the maximum it can but making sure it is safe also.

they even phoned me an hour later after i had gone to make sure i was happy with the work they had done. also very friendly people.

i gave them a 9 out of 10 because they are still rather young, and arent the most clued up on japanese vehicles, but they are getting better and better with the JDM side of things.

Would you use them again : I would have to say no. There wasn't anything in particular they did wrong but I just didn't like the way they approached things. One example being when I turned up one of the tuners asked if my GT was FWD, RWD or 4WD. So immediately I knew they didn't know anything about GT's. I only went for a FPR tuning session and I felt as if the tuner was intentionally drawing things out (I was paying per hour) and he initially said it would take nowhere near an hour but he stretched it to nearly 2! Not only that but when I left and began the drive home the car kept cutting out (fault with the FCD most likely). So I took it back to him and he tinkered about and ended up turning the boost down as he thought that was the issure, wasn't really interested in sorting it out.
