heres how i fitted mine:
I have some other stuff wired to the ecu, so thats what the other wires are for!
You will need the following for Installation (Cigarettes are optional):
I made this table to help with installation:
Going on the above table, I firstly Disconnected the earth from the battery as i didnt want any nasty surprises when working with the ECU:
I then wanted to locate all the necessary wires on the ecu plugs.
So again, referring to the table i made, I Located :
Earth:
Ig Live:
Speed Sensor wire:
I then proceeded to cut the speed sensor wire:
Referring to the table, I connected the yellow wire from the SLD, to the ECU side of the cut wire and the white wire from the SLD to the Loom side.
I then connected the black earth wire from the SLD, to the ECU's ground wire (brown):
Then the same with IG Live, (black/red trace):
Then I fired up old faithful:
soldered up my connections, and Used insulation tape to cover the bare solder:
.
Then all thats left is to tidy up the wiring, fit the ECU connector plugs back in......
and of course reconnect the battery.
Job done.
