Camshaft journal clearance

As above, what's the min/max clearance

Am currently rebuilding an engine and the cam cams are scored slightly and the camshafts are pretty bad so thinking of polishing the caps and checking with plastic gauge, might get a pair of second hand cams as you can feel scores with finger nail.

Any advice much appreciated :)

its fairly common tbh. i would give them a polish as best you can and then fit them.

the clearance would be in the engine manuals that are kicking around online, but again, i wouldnt worry too much.

i was worrying a little but if its fairly common and a polish up will be okay ill just do that then, will i have to worry about oil pressures being off or will it be that minute it wouldn't matter?

i did scout the web but couldnt find anything, ill pay a visit to the 4efe manual see if that says anything
