Want to upgrade turbo from ct9 to any other, aiming for 1.2 bar boost on stock internals ,need suggestions on turbo for running this amount of boost, TD04/TD05 are very common, looking for some garrett turbocharger, lag isn't a issue for me although looking for a turbo with a bit of lag :haha:

well you dont have to get a kit from us. but something like gtx2860 will work real nice and make decent power (350+hp)..but $$'s. we may have a billet td05-16g out soon. that'd make roughly 350hp too. pm us if you are interested in trying it. it will fit any td04 manifold/downpipe of ours (or any other manufacturer). our annual sale is on and all manifold/downpipe combos are 25% off. may be worth a gander.

vf30 will be very laggy on 4efte
try td04/td05/vf28 depending on what you want to achieve
most likely the td04, gt25 maybe preferable for drivability while the gt28, td05, vf28 for a bit more power but with a bit more lag

no it isn't. its a journal bearing turbo with a bigger backend (p18/p20) and is even a bit laggy on an untuned subaru 2000cc engine
its no good for a 4e at lowish boost
