CT9 turbo REBUILD

Greetings Friends!!

Has any one ever rebuilded a CT9 turbo of a 4EFTE engine. If yes, please let me know what parts were needed and if size or reference numbers you have.

i have rebuilt 2. 1 works perfectly and i am still using it now, the other didnt work out so good and the seals leaked straight away.

i got mine from there a while back
installed it on a hybrid ct9 and it worked for a good while till it was sold
its really a hit or miss kind of situation as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt.....i guess it also depends on how worn the smoking turbo is


PS--its best to get the turbo properly rebuilt and balanced by a turbo specialist/firm

i have never used this specific one, but im sure it will be ok.

as gorganl2000 said, it is a bit hit and miss, even when you get them done professionally.

BUT the issue in the country i live in is that we can get a used turbo in less then 100$ so was thinking to rebuild it or buy a used one which looks in good condition and any ways i later plan to go bigger turbo.. so i am confused
