ooooooo tempting whats the difference between single and twin?

Twin coil is for cars with CDI units, pretty sure Starlets would use the Single coil

They are £80ish on Ebay, be good to see who tries one first

i know there have been some people use them before on her as i remember reading a thread about but was a long time ago.

think i remember them saying how they wired it up to engage with the handbrake and disengage when it was released which sounds like a really neat function.

You just wire it onto + and - coil and away you go, think it works along the same lines as the Bee R's, just cuts spark...

Could this be used in conjunction with an emb? As I'd love to have launch control on it!

Dont see why not, it jused wires into your coil not the ECU

Yeah, but I was wondering if it would then mess up the signals to the ecu etc for the injector and ignition timing etc?

I have that omex l/c. Its awsome, get 11 psi of boost at 4k for the launch.

Makes alot of noise lol

Any photos of it fitted etc? And can I see how it was wired in to the engine bay?

I can't take a photo just yet but it's simple. coil positive wire in the engine bay is the thicket of the 2 tat plug into the coil and the smaller is neg. Then a live and earth for the box and an earth for the switch.
