    if you're going forged, then there's no difference, other than the superior camshafts of the FHE (more lift/duration)

    i thought the 5efhe and 4efte camshafts are exactly the same? is this true?
    198bhp and 198lbft and 15.07 quarter mile at santa pod. 860kg with 1/4 of a tank of petrol!

    nope - well, its kind of murky waters as to which 5E-FHE's had the high-lift/duration camshafts, but there's a 5E-FHE set of camshafts that are mildly uprated, its the 5E-FE camshafts that are the same as 4E-FTE

    slightly contradictory though ive been told that slight details in that attachment arent 100% correct.

    if your forging, the main difference(rods) wont matter anyway.

    good base to start building a monster GT for someone.
