valve clearances

Just wondered if anyone knew what the official figures are on a ep91 4efte. seen lots of figures all different and dont know what to go with!! 0.17 - 0.23mm on intake or 0.06 - 0.08 and exhaust >> 0.27 - 0.33mm or 0,08 - 0.12?? im baffled:homer:

4E-FTE Valve clearance with the engine cold are:

Intake 0.17mm - 0.23mm
Exhaust 0.27mm - 0.33mm

That the same for aftermath cams also?does it apply to 4e/5e?

Personally I would stick to using the stock clearance spec unless otherwise stated by the camshaft manufacturer.

The above valve clearance spec comes from the JDM workshop manual that covers both the 4E-FTE and 5E-FHE engines.
The USDM 5E-FE manual gives a valve clearance spec of:

Intake 0.15mm - 0.25mm
Exhaust 0.31mm - 0.41mm

Personally I'd go by the JDM spec, it seems a little more precise.
