Bad luck Lio, you were looking fast up to the point of over heating. Any idea of how bad the damage is?

I think it should be ok. When I slowed down, water temp dropped a bit lower (80%) that's why I decided to push it on last bents, just in case we had a chance to fix problem before next session.
I lost 15 sec only to my direct opponents on this session. unfortunately we had no spare belts...

Saw that look on your face when faced with the dilemma - do I kill it with more boost or do I ease off and let it recover?

Always a hard choice to make mate, I think you did well only dropping ten seconds. Least she will live to fight another day!

yep, this was a big dilema, stop here, go slow, or trash it... I'm surprised to see temp went down when slowing down.

You need to buy one of those Power Enterprise Carbon Kevlar EP accessory and timing belts. Sorry to hear. I had overheating problems my first track event too. Had to slow as well. Most of the heat is from the engine load so that's why it drops when you slow down.
