Problems with competition clutch pressure plates

After installing my new stage 4 competition clutch I found it difficult to start the car and once started the clutch was making lots of noise.

A number of points on the pressure plate were touching the bell housing.

i think ive seen this before,almost sure the bell housing had to be notched in places.

We have notified CC about this in the past. We modify the pressure plate slightly when we are fitting them.

Thanks John, I adapted my pressure plate also.

Do you have any pictures of your modified pressure plate ?

It's nearly the whole way round JC, There are 3 corners on the Competition Clutch pressure plate that need to be "removed".

I have yet to start my new engine so I hope my feckin clutch is alright, I'm using the Stage 4 too.

Friend of mine had one too with no issues, only a few dodgy ones I take it?

sorry richie,come to think of it,it was the pressure plate that needed to be modded.

With the driveshafts in and wheels on you should be able to tell.

have you got any pics of a modded pressure plate? got this clutch dont know if im going to have the same problem.
