Right, ive taken the front bumper bar offl, and had the wheels sprayed in satin black, so the car now looks like this:

In my opinion it looks so much better!

nope this is a import avensis with a rev4 3sgte or in other words a rev 4 gt4 engine and 4wd running gear.
much like the subaru estate or the misubishi legnum,
engine code is st246 and runs 0.9 bar boost as standard, 5 speed gearbox. engine parts are mostly same with a gt4 expept the gt4 has a water to air inetercooler and this has a air to air cooler,
inlet manifolds are different and few other minor tweaks..
easy to keep, reasonable to maintain, oil you should use would be a ester based 15/50 or 10/50 so will cost close to 50 quid a gallon, filter bout 8 ish.
body parst are all avensis exept bonnet, suspension is similar to gt4,
any other questions, ask and i shall try help if i can,...
I REALLY WANT THIS CAR....lol
but no job, not alot of money and 3 cars on the drive ...grrrrrr.
why did this not come up for sale few days before i bought my corolla g6 and a runaround, i would have bought this....
wanna swap/part-ex for a mint corolla g6 mate????

Love these cars i'm selling my Glanza to buy one 0-100 km/h in under 6 secs and the quarter mile is about 13.8-14 secs. Whoever is thinking about buying one buy it they are bloody quick with lots of space this ain't a st246 this is an st215w which is the 1997-2001 caldina the st246 is the 2002-2007 model which imo looks bloody horrible compared to this one

Well, you won't be short on choice in NZ for cars, or tuners... Driven Performance do loads of bits for the Caldina...

I got 2 quotes, before I settled with Sky insurance, as it was a great price and you get a discount if you mention TGGT.com too!

insurance groups vary from company to company, i would hazard a guess at group 20 or 21 for this, as it is a import afterall and being turbo charged running aprox 260ish bhp..
so i would imagine insurance to be similar to a gt4, which again varies where you live and who you insure with, I was payin almost £700 for my gt4 in Birmingham, and i got quoted £500 in Swindon, that is a £200 difference, but persistance and many fonecalls later i managed to get it insured for £275 fully comp, with all mods declared, both me and mrs on policy and both have had an accidednt each this year.. so go figure.. insurers are a right pain in the back side, as the can charge anything, the funny thing i learnt trough this, was when i rang a broker they managed to quote me £325, then few minutes later i rang a different broker and when i gave them my postcode they said i had already had a quote fom them, so i played along and got them to confirm all my details were correct and then asked how much did they quote me and they said £275.. so i bought it,
turns out the 1st broker had rung the 2nd broker and got the quote then added £50 for there trouble and 2 minute fonecall.. cheeky getz..

Urm, with a post entitled 'dont buy it', that's hardly helpful is it?

Seriously people, are you all mad? Someone buy this for god's sake! It's a cracking example of a very good car...
