Well the best is to buy one of them extra nipple things but failing that.
I like the vaccum going to the fpr if it hasn't already got anything on it.

got my boost gauge plumbed into the vacuum line going to my dump valve, its plumbed in nearer to the inlet mani and gives quite an accurate read.

nearer the better would say to inlet manifold. as long as it is a vacum hose shouldnt really matter, just tee piece into1
