Oil filter

Guys,
really easy one. Is the oil filter on the GT (EP82/4efte) the same as uk starlet (4efe)? need to do a oil and filter change at some point and not sure if the local motor factors will have it in their books.

dont know what ur filter numbers are over there but if u get a ryco filter it is a z386 very common toyota filter mate

Its not too much of a hassle if the drip bracket and A/C are not in the way

So the filter is the same as the 4efe? Oh i know of the fun and joy of changing the filter. Need a extra few bends in my arm (or the right tool?) LOL...

or no aircon and intercooler hoses and power steering haha

my last two oil filters have been the 3efe and not had any problems

gotta say since i removed my aircon changing the filter is a peice of pie

Can't see me losing the aircon at the moment. Its too usefull. Just need to locate my "special", now where is that screwdriver.....lol

GregOr do you mean 4efe or 3efe? (although i have never heard of a 3efe engines...)
