greedy knock sensor

the only reason i know what it is as i have just seen one for sale on forum !when i had my emanage fitted they didnt fit this, should it be in there? is it needed ? as i still have it sat in garage lol

If you opted to buy the knock sensor with your e-manage then yes your tuner should have fitted it for you to make use of it. Its an optional sensor to help detect knock and yes could be crucial. However, the only thing is, I THINK this is only useful when you have the emanage hooked up with Greddy e-01 EBC, so if you dont have this then maybe that could be reason why your tuner didnt fit.

The Greddy Knock Sensor Adaptor for the Emanage Blue wires into the wiring loom and it just stops the Stock ECU from retarding the Ignition timing to far when it detects knock.

possibly as i have a profec b on my car always wondered what it was lol hopefully nick or some1 will get a spare few mins to put up relevent info on this and ill see about fitting it if i can utilise it

thanks nick so i can make good use of this ? or should the tuner have relevent experiance with the altering of timeing ect as i have car mapped at raceline

The tuner will know what hes doing mate, there should be no need for a Knock Adaptor mate, he will be monitoring for knock while adjusting ignition timing.
