For sale: a set of custom reground cams

Item Condition: Brand New, they also come with the pulleys

Price and price conditions: £150 ONO

Extra Info: The durations are 264 and the lift on the intake cam is 8.75mm and the exhaust is 9.15mm
These have also been hardened after there re grind, a lot of people dont do this!

i bouht these of the site couple of months ago and never got round to putting them in, now as i have changed my mind and am going to get one of trevours forged engines there is no point in me pting these in.

What sort of turbo setup are these cams suited too? Also how much would it cost to get the head shimmed up do you know?

You or where were these made or bought before you had them. Is there any wear showing on the bearing cap bits.

if it aint a crazy shim then u can buy them across the counter!!
motor bike shims will also do the job but if its a big gap then Custom shims will have to be made
and the Cost a fortune
please give all relevant information before selling!!
Did u shim them up in a Cylinder head and what is the Gap intake and exhaust???

so if it isnt a crazy shim buy over the counter... but if it is then do what i said? i wasnting trying to have an arguement, just offering some help for anyone local.

for what i said all you need is a head specialist like above, stevie gault, someone who can check tolerances accurately and get custom shims made up.

he is based in NI and so are these cams. buy the cams, take them to gault. he'll sort you out.

haha ya mad man!!
and i very much doubt he makes them at his workshop
i only know of a few places in the UK that make them and he aint one i know of but if u can prove he does then i am all ears
wud love to see pics of his workshop etc etc
i await ur full reply with all details on his operations
shims have to be made up in Batches which are not cheap
basically they will cost more than the Cams

sorry mate, ive only got he details as per his website. whether he would do it or know someone that would do it im not sure.

if someone is thinking of buying these, then they should def contact some folk about getting shims made up before buying to price etc.

but given the price of the cams you still wouldnt be past the price of billet ones even if you had to pay the same again for shims.
