So what's everyone's EP plans for the forthcoming dark season?

Are you prepping for a bout of winter driving, adding more power to beat the snow drifts, or putting the poor wagons into hibernation?

It's been hibernating for the last year anyway lol

Plan is to get it up and running in time for the Scottish Sprint Series and Super Lap Scotland so I can show these other big guns what we can do!

Jay, you made me Laugh as usual -) Nice picture there -)))))))

Will put snow tyres (Toyo SnowProxes) in late November and hope to get some fun, thus good tyres makes it real fun to drive and full control on the road. I drive the car almost every day, so I keep it warm in the winter -) Mind you I can't even call this a winter, it feels more like an Autumn really, as we don't get proper snow in the UK.

Quick pitstop so the GT's ready for a thrashing through the dark season, gonna change the oil from a 5-50 to a 5-40, put some coolant into the rad as it's all water then it's gonna burn rubber come rain, sun or snow.

Will be interesting to see how you get on as I'm considering the SLS too!

Hopefully mine will be limped (on 3 1/2 cylinders) to another garage for hibernation and rebuild.

Oh you thinking about joining the Sprints next year?

Join iain in A2 at the sprints. Starlets do pretty well in that class:cool:

As for me, il be giving the crx some more power hopefully! And just pottering around the garage with other projects.

I'm seriously considering getting into sprints and the likes, I know you need a proper through dash (MSA approved) rollcage for most things so that's the next thing I'm looking in to...

I am unsure yet of what class i plan to run in, was debating on upping the power tho it wont be so good at the sprints then!

Pottering with the mini then? :haha:

Yeah been speaking to Rory about it for a while now and really fancy the sprints. Ideally i want as much track time next year as possible but i may settle for doing 1 event next year rather than 2, see how it pans out.

A good mixture of plans folks, great to see a few prepping for the bad weather.

I've just got the HyperRevs GT to MOT then it'll be hitting the road, that'll let me freshen up the engine on the daily auto. The 5E & my mk1 are now resigned to the project list. Might get to them before the summer rolls back in. Elsewhere my Detonator V will be enjoying it's third winter in use as back up for my mum's car. Cannot believe it's still holding boost.

Just googled the SLS - that looks like a very accessible, enjoyable competition, would be nice if you fellas could keep us updated on how you get on with it!

lol jay how do you manage to find time to keep, run, maintain, and tune so many starships :homer:

well my winter plan is buy a 4wd car ready for the snow, only a cheapo one maybe a half decent subaru justy or something for a laugh. then upgrade it to either a starlet or a celica gt4 when snow starts clearing.
