I've recieved and read a couple of books and here is a small review of them.
for all those out there that have built an engine i certainly advise to get this book. it's a great read and made me feel like a complete moron after i was done reading it
I thought i knew a few things about building an engine and my engine is still running fine but this book goes soooo much deeper into building a race spec engine that it just blew my mind!
this one is a great source of information when you are interested in building and flowing the head.
has a lot of Do's and Don'ts and the book is based as a general guide for all sorts of heads
never thought there was so much to learn about a single engine part... the cams.. explains a lot about what cam does what, pro's and con's of certain cams and how to correctly fit and adjust them.
and i got 2 books about engine management. they have a lot of overlap in the information they give.
the books really dive into mapping the engine propperly. even taking into account the time it takes for an injector to open and to close and use that information to correct the fuel management! it's mind boggeling detailed and it's not "light" reading. but very very usefull if you want to roadtune a car yourself and want to know what you are doing besides "more fuel makes my tailgate black"
bought them from bookdepository as they have free delivery worldwide.
now i finally have something usefull to read on my 2 hour commute to work everyday
