My car is currently on standard shocks and tein s tech springs. The ride quality is ok but still very crashy over bumps in the road.

Wanting opinions on if meister coilovers are worth the investment or are there any other options.

Thanks

Had tried tein springs on standard shocks and with hks springs both set up not bad combination,
then the Buddyclub junior spec coilovers dam they wer nasty as daily yikes (dukes of hazard).

MeisterR coilovers they're so good i bought them twice for both GT,
deffo Love them made the right decision, the car been transformed even for local bumpy roads.
Av heard good about bc coilovers but i couldnt compare.
Last time i checked on Meister website they wer out of stock,i ended up buyin replacement dampers at £142.50 each with the TGTT discount code yup still works :D

As said above. They're really great coilovers, which are much better suited for our UK roads than the JDM setups imo.
Over the years I've had D2s (bone shakers) Teins (Awesome, but a little too harsh for Uk roads) and now the Meister Rs, which have been my fav setup so far.
I use my GT daily at times and find thr meisters really comfy.

Keep an eye out on the FB groups, as used setups come up for good money from time to time.
I came really close to buying a set of yellow speed also:

However I managed to get a set of Meisters for a bargain price :)

I've always thought any coilovers are going to be stiff as but they sound brilliant and exactly what I want.

How soft do you have them for daily use?

i have been running meister's on my ep91 now for a very long time and i highly recommend them...my environment is a bit different to yours (i'm in the caribbean, so no snow/rust to worry about per say)...i use some smooth highways and bumpy outback and secondary roads and they drive comfortably and can handle the rough stuff within reasonable limits.... Plus Jerrick is great with sales and after-sales support, which is very important to me from a seller (if required).

Always had good experience with MeisterR suspension in anything I've worked on. Properly transforms the drive when swapping out old, tired suspension.

Don't get me wrong the ride is firm i.e. my daily VAG is still comfier than my GT. But in comparison to other coilovers I've had in the past, where my fillings nearly fell out over a bump, my Meisters are miles comfier.

I have mine set about + 6 clicks from soft. Been meaning to play around with dampening settings more, but pretty happy as they are.

Yeah I'm not looking the comfort level of a modern car but just something a bit more forgiving, the meisters seem great.

I'd prob have them fully soft lol

lol....It found fully soft a bit too bouncy...but give it a shot when you get yours. Good thing is you can adjust them to how you like them.
I'd also suggest getting a proper geo setup done after you've had them fitted and you're happy with the ride height etc...

That's why I'm getting them. I can have them set exactly how I like.

Yeah that's a good idea, I've had steering alignment done when fitting the tein springs but they never touched the adjustable panhard rod but I'm guessing that should have been set up properly.
