Fuel cut or overboosting

I have a toyota corolla sprinter ae101 with a 4efte on it, just want to ask what are the possible ways to fix my car whether its a fuel cut or overboost at 6k rpm..... stock internals stock ecu ct12b turbo FMIC with adjustable fuel regulator.

What sort of boost level are you seeing?

If it's creeping up it will eventually hit fuel cut so controlling that boost is key.

I have an ep82 GT starlet and I'm running a new turbo setup which is a top mount turbo setup t2560 with a turbo smart 40 external wastegate which suppose to has a 7psi spring. Currently, I have an exhaust leak coming from between the turbo and manifold and my issue is my car is running lean and yes I do have an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator install with a standard pump which I soon change to a 255 but the concern is can this leak cause my wideband reading to read lean and also cause the car to over boost because being that I running wastegate pressure with a 7psi spring and seeing more than 10 psi which causes the car to boost spike, it makes me wonder what spring and bear in mind on boost the car read rich which is 10.9 high on the wideband so I just need some solid guidance, but I aim to get the leak fix as soon as I can but need to know if the leak will cause this major issue

Not familiar with the turbo setup but from what I know, an exhaust leak where you describe it should lead to a loss of power and an inaccurate reading from the wideband.

Any I've dealt with personally have gave a lean reading so that rich 10.9:1 should be a safe indication but I would be sorting your leak asap.

i'd also fix the lead asap as it will lead to incorrect afr readings
next thing, do you have the wastegate hooked up correctly? are you sure its a 7psi spring? you can check the color/size of the spring against the relevant brand's chart and compare

Heyy bro I did pull down and the leak was coming from hot side of the turbo I saw where the exhaust was leaking and regards to the wastegate it had two 7psi spring causing me to see 15psi and boost cutting so I leave in one of the 7psi spring and looking for 10 spring to install

you need to determine what brand of wastegate you have and check online for the matching spring chart

Noted bro, I also pull down and realize the wastegate had two 7psi springs so that for sure was causing me to over boost, is just to upgrade the stock pump to a 255 sometime this week
