Anyone able to shed some light on why the selector arms are solid? Gearsticks solid in what looks like 4th but taking the cables off to get neutral manually the arms only move about a 1/4 inch each and thats it? Cheers

Sounds like something could have let go inside the box, selector related possibly.

Did it give any indications beforehand or just stick suddenly?

Its not even turned a wheel yet, should they move fairly freely? Ill have a crack at it today again and slacken a few bits see it free’s itself off, noticed 4 bolts on the end of the smaller arm wondered if something had jammed inside there

I've seen the selectors go on various Toyota boxes, mainly celicas.
You can remove the selector mechanism and inspect/fix/replace it no worries
It's been many a year since I done 1 but it's pretty straightforward from memory, should just slip out

Any recall on how tight these are to come out? Pry bar either side and its not overly keen, guide bolts out at the top aswell. Would being stuck in gear affect it? An inch is about as far as it comes
