"Sard analyze" ecu in my new 96 starlet glanza v

Like the title says, I just got a 1996 toyota starlet glanza v from a company in atlanta,Georgia ( I live in the states)

Among this ecu the car has a factory front lip/side skirts, TRD adjustable dampening coilovers
older Blitz B.O.V.
Cusco front and rear strut tower brace and
"C" pillar brace and a "APEXI" air filter.

I was just mainly wonder what is different about this ecu, this is my 1st starlet, and also my 1st imported car.

Any info or insight into the car, the ecu, or if there's something special/unique about this EP91 would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks ahead of time and cheers guys!

Here is a link to my Instagram post with the pic of the ECU.
it also has the serial num 1491 on it that I could see from the pics.
I'll check and see if the number has any more digits on it.

basically, more base engine power, more efficient use of what the engine is capable of, similar to other manufacturer replacements, ie nissan aftermarket ecu's etc

probably worth some money now

Them ECUs normally raise the fuel cut, remove the top speed limiter and are more aggressively mapped Buddy :)
Welcome along

Have one in my auto GT.

They increase engine power, remove the 112mph speed limiter and remove the factory boost limiter.

Nice update over stock ECU.

Good to hear of another Starlet rolling in the states - bet it's a rare sight on those roads!

Oh yeah, heck I haven't seen one for sale in the lower south east part of the country.

And so far I'm SUPER happy with it!
Its such a fun car to drive, amd it feels so nimble!

Just curious and wanted to ask,
where do you guys find parts for these cars?
Stock parts and aftermarket parts.
I've found a little bit of stuff on Ebay, but not much.

For instance, I know I'm gonna need to do a brake job on the car soon.
You can hear the brake Squealers making a little bit of noise already.
And I saw a set of brake pads on ebay, either from Australia or the uk.
I'm gonna explore the forum a bit, I was just afraid there wasn't a lot of activity, but having seen the replies from you guys, I have hope!

Again, thanks for the replies, and Im happy to be a new member to the forum!!

You should be able to cross reference a few parts with the US Tercel and Corolla models hopefully.

Not sure if they shared front pads and discs but there's plenty of aftermarket optiins available in the UK and Japan. Shipping might be a bit sore though.

Welcome with the strong dollar to yen atm the minute I would think buying from Japan would be your best bet if you cannot cross reference anything locally.
Sites like rhd Japan and crooober should help also amayama for oem parts although more and more is getting discontinued now unfortunately.

Just started stalking you on Instagram :)
Therealslim.skiny
I saw that, now we're stalking each other.
Take a look at my 2013 mazdaspeed 3 build.
I've put a LOT of time,blood , and $$ into that one!

And thanks everyone for the suggestions on parts and stuff.
It's nice to see a forum that's not toxic like most of the mazda forums' are.

Yea I spied that :) I've a fondness for the older Mazdas. I had an 87 323 4x4 turbo about 15 years ago. 150 hp and not much weight, I used to terrorise the scooby boys for fun :)

welcome aboard
brake pad wise, assuming your brake set up is stock...i once bought hawk performance pads from the US back in the day...various compounds to choose from

you may have to try looking under Toyota Tercel parts

Yeah the speed 3/ mazda MPS is a FUN car.
Right now I'm only fully tuned on my direct injection, my blow-off valve failed once we turned it up to 30psi on the dyno.
So I've replaced it with a TIAL QR valve.
Now I've got to go back and get the port injection tuned so I can hit some real numbers, power Wise.

Right now on "DI" I'm making 386WHP.
I can't wait to see what 35psi will bring!!!

Oh, I was gonna ask, does anyone here have any records for a decent front mount intercooler for the EP91?

I've found a few shady looking kits on ebay, but I dont trust the ebay intercooler's
