only problem i had lewis was my back end bein slippy, but that was due to running semi slicks on front, and fast road tyres on rear, but in afternoon when the tyres on front were worn and hot, they started to slide.

what tyre pressures werre you running - dropped mine to 22s all round and seemed to get better grip

I started the day with 28 psi (cold) and dropped to 24psi (cold) after the 2nd session, should have gone a bit lower tbh but it was gripping ok :)

its almost as thought my quaife is broken :( It doesnt make any funny noises though.

A Quaife won't do much if both of your tyres are stuggeling for traction! :p

When I ran the torsen diff in the GTxx which is a copy of the Quaife, you could feel it pull you around the corner.

22psi seems low?

Dan,

Was that 22psi when the tyres were hot or cold?

Rory

ran 26s in first session - and checked them after coming off and went up to 30, and back end was very slippy (but had road tyres on), dropped to 22 before went out on 2nd session, and back end was alot more managable.

I really don't know where to start. Honestly.

I thought these cars were old, tired, not rare anymore and owned by a load of unsavoury boy racers?

What I experienced was a relaxed, completely friendly atmosphere with some of the most pleasant owners and enthusiasts we could have hoped for!

Hats off to everyone who attended, I don't care what you drove or who you came with but you all did yourselves proud. Special thanks are in order to those who made this event take place (you know who you are) and also a warm round of applause for Sam who really out did himself this time.

Flawless mate. Fucking flawless.

Was certainly good to put names to faces/faces to usernames/ usernames to cars. As ever, I tried to shake as many hands as I could, apologies to any I missed.

After looking at this thread I see those cameras weren't wasted - it's great to see some stunning pics from our gifted photographers there. I only took a few snaps which I'll upload in a bit.

The trip home made the weekend for me. We were running to make that boat and it really did give us a scare. We made it with minutes to spare and running on fumes so even a quick pitstop would have left us stranded!

As for the motley NI crew. Top lads. Would do it all over again, just give our heartrates and bank balances time to recover.

Monk you seemed to fly round that track! You still 1 bar on CT9?
I am indeed, although she's dropping boost off in 3rd for some reason. Not sure if she does it in 2nd, I'm usually too busy keeping her in a straight line to worry about that and she holds ever so slightly shy of 1bar in 4th last time I looked.

no problems here, the softer ride from the konis really helped, got wheelspin in 2nd gear out of the bustop but after that it was grip and go :)
I've got D2's which are quite hard so I guess The Bitch was over-reacting to the bumps. I don't think the camber was right either, could do with more negative, and the Yoko A520's felt a bit slippery. Could be down to the camber though I suppose.

This is my best vid. Couldnt find a decent position for the camera mount so the other videos have things in the way like the tax disk.

Oh cool I'm in that video, (Holding people up :p)

Thats probably too much oil in my car, as I haven't burnt any in 3,000 miles of normal driving. My breather is plumbed into the intake though.

Out of interest are you running a TD04 what power / torque figures are you running? I must of underestimated how much power that little engine puts out as I pull away on the straight!
