MPG at 1bar on CT9

I recently upped the boost to 1bar on my Glanza (RRFPR and FCD) but was worried just what affect it would have on my mpg after reading some people on here getting awful mpg from their starlets. I could always get 300-320 to a tank before I upped the boost and on my first tankful of v power I still got 300 miles before filling it up again which I was pleased about. I was just wondering what mpg others get at 1bar

£20 at 95-97p litre of vpower i get around 170-180mpg town driving + booting it.

if motorway driving i get 210-220

either way its way better mpg then my old zetec s and my corsa c 1.2 lol!!

Those numbers right? :p

I can squeeze 230miles on the motorway out of my starlet. Thats running 0.90bar with supporting mods and is mapped. It use only be 200 before the emanage was mapped. But mine is an auto and they are slightly thirstier even though the fuelling has been leaned off across the throttle position sensor.

I think that works out around 30mpg?

Cant complain though the legnum works out around 17/18 mpg around town at 30mph or so and early twenties on the motorway!! eek.

Super unleaded at tesco near me is now 103.9 :( Didnt take long for the fuel go up again.

I really cant see 300 miles out of a tank roughly £35.

~105p per litre = ~£4.72 Per gallon = ~7.4 Gallons = over 40mpg.

Either that or your speedo is way out or you drive like a fairy!

i'm running a bar on a standard ct9 with jam racing ecu and i get around 250+kms for a tank of juice. i don't be whoring it around everywhere though. if i'm on the motorways i get more than short journeys but it's the same in all cars like that really.

i worked it out and my last tank was 35mpg

I must admit that I hardly ever boot it much. For instance I have just replaced 2 of my goodyear F1's after they have done 32,000 miles, the other 2 are still fine! Perhaps being in your mid 30's calms your right foot slightly:p
When I filled up yesterday V power was 106.9 here:mad:
Mt speedo is fine as I have GPS as well and its spot on on speed and distance on the trip recorder. Some of you guys must wear lead right shoes!

I'm avereging 25mpg at present, although it has been averaging 27mpg previously. The Bitch is actually returning the same mpg as my 1.7 Puma, although she failed her MOT on emissions and Lambda readings so I suspect she's been chugging fuel for fun.

Mines about the same as above!!

put £15 in the otherday and done about 110+ miles on just under half a tank and that was off boost for a good 90 miles.

Doing my head in driving it lately tbh especially with no job :(

I see your telling others off for driving like me lol

tbh Beaker what your trying to achieve with mpg? I always thought if you want good mpg it sadley means driving like a fairy lol. And im sure that getting rid of bad driving habits helps to ie coasting to a junction in a high gear and only clutching at last moment instead of changing down as you approach. Think this was on Topgear once?

Or buy a scooter lol

I can't talk on beakers behalf, but i'm guessing he doesn't want to spend an ample amount on fuel a week when he could save, i mean especially in our current position. You are returning good miles bro!

If I'm driving sensibly on A roads the most I've got is 420kms to a tank and thats with the 5E+TD05 hybrid. Very easy to drive it off boost I guess.

If I have a fun time though it drops ALOT!
