Well after the last 5 months of the car looking like a heap of rubbish and most of the motor lying in peices around the garage i have finaly got around to fixing all the mechcanical problems myself with the help of everyone at TGTT and panel n painting the starlet with the help of my flatate kev...

i have tryed to place a pole over the ratchet and turn the car over and it wont budge all that did is stall my engine and my alarm started going off and i couldnt start my car for like 5-8mins. everytime i turned my key the immobleiser kicked in and alarm went off
there is a small drop of water appearing under the sump ive found its running down my alternator i think maybe waterpump? any one got any ideas. never noticed it before and its a slow continuse drip no oil just pink coolant. ??? help lol

the leads are brand new. brand new irideium sparkeys the problem was they werent torqed down enough. fixed now tho. thanks for the help tho i did remove them to check the condition and they were whiteish\ cream coloured soot on them any ideas?

once you line up the inlet dot you gota use the dot when the exaust cam for cyl 1 is pointing towards the front of the car buddy.
and as for the cam bolt hold inside cog carefully you dont wana ruin it and turn the outside cog with a pair of long nose pliers or 2...
ive tightend it as tight as i could with light pressure then a 1\4 turn good pressure and it seems to do the job now leads are hard to take off so must be a lot of pressuse to pop then off
