Forgot to say I have replaced the whole system including the manifold, had it strengthened aswell as I hear they are prone for cracking lol okay I will do a compression test and make a decision from there, thanks again mate!

Okay cheers for the advice, i have got a RRFPR and FCD, full exhaust and de-cat, relocated air filter and front mount. I was told i can raise the boost to 1 bar safely with standard internals but if im better off changing the gasket i will. Should i be looking to get an ecu next or can i get set...

Can anyone tell me how much boost i can safely run with stock internals, turbo etc And is it wise to replace the factory head gasket if increasing the boost? Thanks, Jez

Standard ct9 and no more than 1.1, just want to get the most of the standard engine

Hi, I am about to run more boost with my standard engine but first want to fit a thicker head gasket. I will also skim the cylinder head while I'm at it so do i have to compensate for that aswell? Any information on gasket thickness, where to buy and which manufacturer would be appreciated...

Yeah still using the stock air filter housing, removed the pipe and found alot of black crap in there, clean the whole lot out and its all good, thanks for the help! :)

Its a samco hose between the manifold and intercooler, haven't diagnostic check yet as the management light isn't on...

When i rev my glanza, the pipe between the inlet manifold and the top mount nearly sucks itself shut.. I suspected a blockage so i removed the intercooler and all pipes to check, all was good. Then i removed the dump valve and blanked off the port and it will rev all the way but wont boost...
