I'm still dreaming of owning another MK1 GT one day. I occasionally drop in to see what I'm missing.

It was an Evo specialist who did all the work on it. I really wouldn't advise doing the work yourself.

It's worse dude. 18mpg and I had £7500 in receipts for maintainance and replacing broken parts in 2.5 years. It was very fast but honestly less fun than the GT. In hindsight I would have never sold my GT and I would have never bought an Evo.

I'm so jealous Jay. Whatever you do, keep it..........Until I have enough money to buy it. LOL!!!

Me too fella, it was awful. It feels good to be back on here though. Maybe one day I'll have another GT. I knew you would still be here. ;)

That was a couple of days before I sold it. I had an arrangement with the new owner that if he chose to sell it he would give me first refusal. Unfortunately it got stolen from the new owner after about a week. I think I was more gutted than him.

Don't do it. I can honestly say selling my GT is one of the worst decisions of my entire life. Values seem to be going really up too. It's been a long time since I've been on here but I was remembering the great days of GT ownership and my time on here. You might even remember me. Has Jay...
