ah ok, so there is no real implications or performance issues on whether I decide to have it connected or not. its just a matter of preference.

im confused now. look at this picture. It has a cap on. I am not sure where the pcv valve is connected to. It is not clear on the picture

its not even that he forgot, he intentionally did not connect it and put a cap on the end of the hose to as not to connect it to the PCV grommet.

so was I right to reconnect the hose??

different engine but pcv valve is shown. have a 4efte engine and the mechanic who installed the engine decided to not connect the hose to the pcv valve. What are the implication of doing this? I decided to reconnect the hose for now. Thanks

had an auto tercel before so defintely not it. i guess my other questions would be if I have a 4efte engine (whether ep82 or ep91), I can only have a c52 or c56 transmission. I cannot get the gearbox from another machine and have it connect to the 4e engine. Might be a stupid question but I...

damn, got a modified tercel with a ep82 4efte. im not sure about gearbox what i got. is there a way to quicly tell what i have?

are there specific ones for ep82/ep91 transimission or are synchro Rings standard for all toyota machines?

thought there would be different companies making them.

Can someone tell me where to get Synchro Ring? thanks
