My starlets dump valve used to dump at 3000 rpm and gradually the rpm started to increase to 5-6000 rpm. Then it stopped working completly but it was still pretty quick. Now there is no sense of even having a turbo. But turbo has been checked they say its fine. Im not convinced. Can anyone shed...

After i got out the car i did smell burning rubber. It has never shown any signs of going? But i would like to no what the warning sign means? Is it the cat sensor ?

Its weird coz i took it around the block it is fine. It has never slipped or anything just happened today. So is that why the warning light came on?
