Youll need to get the head skimmed too, take out all the valves and give them a good clean, make sure the stems of them are clean so they dont catch. And youll have to grind them in. Yea, when I bought the car the bolts were all loose on the cat and on the intercooler pipes so god knows what else could be loose. Doesnt really sound like a valve train noise, does sound like its coming from under the centre console. I wonder if the cat is blocked.
