Get a downpipe with a divorced wastegate pattern (wastegate path SEPARATED from the exhaust turbine path) then, instead of returning to the exhaust system, weld a screamer pipe with exact wastegate path diameter to the bottom of the engine bay. GET IT SCREAMING...

block the outlet with rags tightly, then put a nozzle at the end of a compressor hose then spray mist water mixed with dishsoap on the dents. if there's bubbles, thre's a leak. I done it that way with my OEM top mount intercooler, it was leaking. My way maybe not your..but it costs nothing to try..
