we've had a similar experience after disassembling, cleaning up, reseating the valves and installing new valve stem seals on (1) 4efte head and (2) 5efhe heads. what we did is to mark each valve, spring and shim, and put them back in their exact location when reassembling. just to be clear, no...

have you check the actual throttle body, cable, spring/adjustment mechanism, butterfly valve (metal flap inside the throttle body), TPS, and the surrounding area to make sure nothing is loose/rattling?

i don't know exactly how long it takes because i don't actively check the gauge, but it takes a while for my car's fuel pressure to drop to zero after turning off the car
