MSD ignition....I had a bad experience experimenting with that. Too large of an injector as fueling would be off. It will only trim to a max +/- percentage using the stock O2 feedback for example. Running a wideband which reads 0-5v wuld be of no use as that use the narrow band signal.

I would say the extra fuel probably was to aid cooling. It could be to achieve "wall wetting". I don't know. But I never looked at the slight richness as a bad thing seeing the PNP ECUS don't really do well with addons. Stock ignition. (No MSD and the like from testing). Stock injectors seeing...

The same JAm ECU ran my ct9/ct20 hybrid back in the day at 18psi. Fueling at WOT was 10.7-11.2

Attached is the MS and AEM ignition options.

Build a jumper harness so you can return to a stock ECU at anytime. A few builds are running well on the MS2/3 here in Barbados. I currently use the AEM ems-4 (Fairly old by today's standards) and I use the 24-1 with no grinding.

@gorganl2000 Before I switched to the MS3 or AEM EMS-4, I ran the 5EFTHE, GT2871r with the stock 295cc injectors with the JAM ecu to 13psi. Once I started to go over 13psi, the mixtures started to lean out.(12's-13's) on the wideband. I probably could have tried turning the FPR up but I wasn't...

WUE cuts out at 60C and switches to the main fuel table. I don't run a Thermostat but logging my temps I rarely get to 82C. I maintain 74 - 80 then the fan cuts in and maintains it in that region.

Have you replaced the Cable? Is the PCI-e card you are using Good? Provide more details on the PC?

Hi all, I forgot to update the thread. I was able to get everything working. In the end I did not use any resistors. I went through the setup of the ECU and synced all the sensors again. Everything was set but the issue persisted. A friend of mine checked it over and stated the car need timing...

I had my CT9/ct20 Hybrid at 20 psi, JAM Racing PNP ECU, Magenecor leads, fmic, ported stock manifold (cleared that # runner), 255 walbro pump, Aeromotive FPR set to 45psi ...The ecu trims to achieve 14.7-15 on the wideband, Catch can omitting the PCV valve from the intake. Car used to work...

Looks like a blue external wastegate is on there.

Enable the noise filtering under ignition settings. See attached.

I spliced the wiring of the new map sensor into the stock map sensor wiring and used the same vacuum hose to the new sensor. Note the 3 bar map sensors won't work with a stock ecu.

A disconnected or faulty coolant sensor leads to starting issues.
