Cool. Have u got a wideband?

1.3 bar is quite a lot for a stock engine especially without management!! Normally when there's oil everywhere it leads towards the ringlands. Does it drive normally? Any 3 cylinder (Subaru) noise? Do u see smoke from your exhaust?

Fuel pump has been changed to a walbro but the voltage needs to be checked - good point thanks How would you know for sure that its detonation?

Tried it before when i was using ngk bkr7eix, made no difference. Will need to try again with the set of bkr8eix i have now. It should be gapped to 0.7mm right?

Update: Changed injectors to rx7 550cc and now still at 1.0bar its cutting earlier 6300rpm compared to 6700rpm with stock injectors. Did another test, changed wastegate spring to 0.6bar and it cuts at 6900rpm. Increased the boost to 0.9 bar via avcr and it cuts at 6600rpm. Cannot think of...

It doesn't missfire at 0.7/0.8 bar of boost but it does it at 1 bar. It's not fuel cut as i've adjusted the clamp voltage in emu to 4.00.

Have you tried changing the knock sensor?

Don't want to for rebore again as the shops who do rebores overhere are crap. The motor doesn't last long. That's why I'm looking for some pistons that don't require rebore of the block, taking into account piston expansion as well.

When using these pistons, did u rebore the block?

Just 1 and a half years and forged engine's gone. Don't quite understand, one piston broke at the skirt. The top of the pistons look fine, no sign of detonation whatsoever. Even the ringlands look fine, will upload some pics for you guys to give us your thoughts. Some are saying that the bore...

At 0.6 bar with stock injectors, there is no missfire at 6800rpm. But with the 550cc, it missfires again!! Help, anyone please??

Could it be be that i need to put in the injector lag times? I left it blank in the EMU as i have no idea of the lag times for the 550cc injectors i've got. They are from an RX7 (colour - pale blue)
