That's actually the cable that connects from the EGT gauge to its sensor.

I believe I might have lost the piece that holds this into place... Is this possibly the problem?

I'll try that as soon as I have the chance. The radio I'm using now is brand new, had the same issue with the old one.

All the grounds have already been checked, radio, speakers and all the cables are new. Got a bit better after the new installation but its still doing the interference and it is annoying specially at low volume. Anywhere else can the problem be sourced?

Sorry to just answer to the thread now... New rotor and distributor cap solved this problem. Everything works perfect again. I also decided to buy a new set of NGK spark plug leads as my old ones were from different engines and some were not in the best shape. Thanks for all the help guys!
