What manegment did you run and any head work done to the 5e... i also read hear that the vf turbo are only good for about 1.4 bar boost how well did yours run with the vf

Well lads iv started a 5e build (forged) and was woundering if anyone is running a vf28 on it as i already have a td04 kit ready to go i also have a fresh vf28 turbo i could use with the turbo kit... what kind of power does the vf make on a 5e with good managment and good map... td05 was another...

You dnt need as much as u think to go td04 as it would prob cost as much to run a good hybrid ct9 setup... bang for buck you wnt get any better den a td04 setup.

i agree with ted if you want to run a vf28 on a stock 4e at a bar or less td04l would be better or even a hybrid ct9 Im currently running a hybrid ct9 but its starting to get smokey

Well men i had a similer problem recently with my toms ecu but turned out to be broken wires at the ecu.. did u have any other computers wired into your loom before installing the new ecu

Ran a vf24 and a 29 on a forged 4e ( basically the same as a 28) and at 1.4 bar they were awesome. At a bar it just wasn't worth it on a 4e. People discount the td04 just because it's been done loads of times-it's a great turbo, and takes abuse unlike the non-rebuildable vf28 Do u think it...

Yea im on stock internals for now... planning on starting a forged build 5e during the winter. I dont really plan on running more than .8 or mabie 1.0 on a stock engine. Im currently running a bar on a hybrid ct9 with the toms ecu and all the other usuall upgrades but my turbo is getting smokey...
