Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

Thank you for the effort! My concern os both if the parts are compatible and if ot would work on a FHD as my Corolla. BTW my Starlet steering pump started to leak on the internal side (right side). Could you help me find one? I couldn’t find any. Also the Starlet AC compressor is leaking from...

4EFE vs 4EFTE engine block differences for forged engine build.

The good thing about the Mazda Miata head is that is has head studs as a default setup. There os a engine forged assembly on youtube about it. The engine is very similar to the 4efe/fte

4EFE vs 4EFTE engine block differences for forged engine build.

Excellent point. We don’t want to destroy our gearbox. To be honest, I don’t think that vJUS gearbox can handle comfortably more than 250 hp. They do, but they don’t last long. They are impossible to find…

4EFE vs 4EFTE engine block differences for forged engine build.

Hi mate. Do you suggest using ARP 10.5 mm head studs or keeping head bolts? My machine shop doesn’t feel comfortable drilling the space for the head nuts between valves.

4EFE vs 4EFTE engine block differences for forged engine build.

The engine block and head is at the machine shop since December waiting for the Pistons. I finally received the pistons, and I also bought the optated springs with titanium retainers from the US. One piece at a time as every of these parts is very expensive. The next step will be to buy ACL...

    HI/LOW Boost wiring

I was thinking about Hi Low boost the reason why the ECU doesn’t ground the solenoid. As we do not have a diagnostic to see the parameters. It might be that in the conditions where the whatever map sensor or temperature isn’t. In the nominal parameters, the ECU decides not to switch to.HI boost...

    HI/LOW Boost wiring

Hi guys. I am trying to figure out why my 4efte Glanza V Hi Low Boost solenoid isn’t working. The solenoid works, but the ECU isn’t putting the VSV1 signal to ground to engage the solenoid. I am actually looking for the full manual in English because I have only a Russian version… if you check...

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

Thank you for the pictures. I confirm it is from a Glanza. do you think I could swap the upper part of the steering pack with the Corolla one? I think that if you screw it off, the whole thing would fit the left hand side Corolla. Maybe someone has a Corolla E 11 4efe steering pack to try...

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

I want to create a plate that merges the Corolla pump holes to sit above the oil filter. There is plenty of space.

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

Not at all. I would just connect the hoses from the inlet that that usually in the Starlet goes to the steering rack straight to the steering pump. It is the exact system, but it just feeds steering oil pressure from two different points in the same system. You can see it in the description...

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

I removed the sensor on the Corolla steering pump. I have on the side and unfortunately the sensor hits a metal plate that means tapping into the rack won’t be useful without the metal plate. I will upload a picture later. The best thing to do would be to buy an extra rack, but again it won’t...

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

The purpose of this job was to reactivate the vacuum line that raises RPM when moving the steering wheel. Both FE and FTE, inlet manifold, have the vacuum lines coming out to feed this purpose. The difference is that as you said, one on the Starlet goes to the steering rack and the other on the...

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

Do you think I could modify the Corolla steering raxk and put in the valve?

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

So it means that the steering rack has vacuum line in and out. The Corolla doesn’t have it. It would be nice to see a picture where it is to possibly modify it in the future. otherwise, I would have to create a metal relocation bracket to fit the Corolla pump.

Where is the vacuum pump in a Starlet Glanza/GT?

Hey guys. I can’t figure oit where the rear intake manifold vacuum pipes should go. In the Corolla 4efe they go to the steering pump. Where do they go in the Starlet? This system pull up the idle rpm when moving the steering wheel. Let me know what you think. Corolla Starlet
