Viscous coupling is still available from toyota, they can't be rebuilt. Although there are better ways around the problem, but don't use a solid shaft as a replacement.

Look through where the shafts push into the box, can you see a pin in the centre, with a gap either side allowing you to look right through the diff, or is it solid?

leave the jumper in place between terminals Tc and E1, turn the key on, then pump the brake pedal eight or more times in three seconds or less. If the light comes on again check continuity between the wiring connectors. or run the diagnostic while driving the car in a straight line.

Loom in a EP91-95 swap is not a direct change over, small amount of soldering is required. other differences are manual air bag to electronic, heater controls, abs, fuel gauge and pump differences in all these. You must be careful what ep91 you use the loom from.
