I've been hearing the same excuse for the money since December - it takes me all of 2 seconds to do a bank transfer, no idea why he has to issue a "Standing Order" or "Bill Payment"

Well, he sent back the CV Joint, so that's the "Theft" part out of the way, having to wait till the 18th [or 28th] for a refund, which is peculiar as it's his supposed move out date..

Well he did call me, and as mentioned, I would think primarily as I was going to go so far as to bring him to court, and now with the attention on MLR he is more active. He's promised remuneration for Monday, so we'll see. Regardless, it doesn't excuse the lies, and the extent of hassle we...

Likewise Nothing has been "Sorted" as claimed but that remains to be seen. It's a shame that I had to go so far as ordering Court Action papers and contacting local Police Departments for a simple debt to be refunded. A year after all, is a year. And copious lies do not exempt a final conclusion.

Martin, I wouldn't give up, he deserves no such leniancy. As per the Police I contacted, in my case he's descended into theft, so if I cannot reach a conclusion with Civil Law, I can take it up to Criminal Law to deal with him. I'm sure it would look good with work etc..

Thanks for the help guys, and Starbuck, that's the very guy - I just don't understand in what delusional state he's living in where he thinks his blissful ignorance will make the situation disappear. Regardless, Small Claims Documents ordered, Martin, I recommend you do the same.

I typically don't like to publicise personal issues, but I would do so, were it not for the qualm that it does not guarantee him owing up to his responsibility; it could just push him further into denial and regression from the situation. I would think the Law is the only way.

Thanks Paul - I know he's attempting to ignore all responsibility, I mistakenly left my name when I called his work and as a result was "in a call" He can ignore all he wants, fact of the matter is that's he gone beyond simple debt now, and has stolen from me.

That would be me: - He's owed me £120 since March - Promised to have a driveshaft made to half-rectify the debt, and pay the remainder, which necessitated me sending him a brand new [uprated] CV Joint worth £150 in October. No sign as of yet. It is lie after lie, and it is not the first...

Same story here - I've been waiting for a tracking number since December, and the money, again, since March. Just called him at work and he was "on a call". I'm about ready to file a Small Claims Case on him as it really isn't acceptable.

Is anyone getting anything? I'm just getting screened calls and no reply whatsoever from the guy. Really struggling finding an end to the situation..
