If you are getting any chatter - 'turbo stall', then the bov isn't working correctly. You fit a bov to eliminate turbo stall!

The fake one's don't blow-off at low boost (like when the turbo is only just spooling up) - whereas the real ones do. Genuine HKS products are great quality - you get what you pay for! If its a real HKS ssq it will have HKS stamped on the bov and on the metal fitting adapter.
