Yup the Ps3 update was avalible as of september with supports for 3d tv's and hdmi 1.4 ( which allows 2 images to be streamed at once, 1 for right and left eye. Hdmi 1.4 also has ethernet so an internet tv can share the connection through hdmi with sky/xbox/ps3 etc Ive not looked into xbox but...
