anyone got any contacts for a glanza s bonnet.

thankyou buddy, needs to be perfect. ideally in white (it will get repainted anyway but if its already white it means any future stone chips won't come out red or something) Tim TB Developments

anyone got any contacts for a glanza s bonnet.

its not something i'm looking at doing i'm afraid buddy i just wanted a perfect one for my own car as i'm finally getting round to building the FMIC pipe work so i can remove my arc topmount. and wanted one to block of the hole. Was gutted when they said there no longer available brand new :(...

    CP Pistons

well i know of 750bhp flywheel at that power and being run as daily drives. I'm building my own supra at 600bhp flywheel with totally stock internals. 1.5bar boost pressure seems to be totally reliable :) People forge them because they like to hit that 1000bhp+ range. Or run high 2 bar boost...

    CP Pistons

haha yeah sorry, lack of sleep. for the 4efte i feel CP don't have alot of experience with them as they would be made on special order, where as with the 3sgte and the 2jz they have alot of history and experience, so for those engines i would only go with CP. i've not had alot of experience...

    CP Pistons

thats about average gap to be honest mate. its about material specs not the in relation to the bores. Wiseco are a higher silicon at 0.027" but that negligible to be honest. compared to the older style ross pistons which people used to favour at 0.060" Tim TB Developments
  10. Tim@TBDevelopments

    CP Pistons

silica content will depend on the application its being used in. but clerances typically out the box there 0.035" and are basically silent. although i have in the past played with some high silica versions for sub 400bhp 3sgte's and daily drive running 0.012" so very tight, even more than oem...

    CP Pistons

We use these on all our 2jz and 3sgte engines and never had issue. Some are pushing 1000bhp. There ran by panki racing which makes all the pistons for nascar, indycar and topfuel drag cars Tim Tb developments

    Twin scroll turbo set up

yes any information please post up, i would like to see this also. The turbochargers i was testing were the garrett GT range, and until you got into the GT3076+ range twin scroll made very little difference compared to single. Remember you'll need 2 wastegates as well. Tim TB Developments

can any one tell me about blitz k1 turbo

i had mine rebuilt by AET turbo before i fitted it. I bought it as "MINT" but their idea of mint was very different to mine lol Either way the custom blitz parts are the compressor wheel and housing. everything else is toyota and can be easily rebuilt. I believe the turbine/shaft is ct12 as...

    Twin scroll turbo set up

i found twin scroll only really has an effect on large pulse engines running large turbochargers. I tried doing twin scroll GT2860rs on a 3sgte and made very little difference. Even the factory twin scroll CT26/CT20b turbos on the factory mr2's you can run them single scroll and again makes...

can any one tell me about blitz k1 turbo

there a good little turbo. had one on my car for over 70,000miles now since i rebuilt it and installed it. With a stock topmount i made 170bhp and 180ft/lbs at 0.8bar i'm currently running it at 1.1bar and makes 202bhp and 197ft/lbs but this does drop off at topend as its running out of puff...

Ep82 gone, now back with mr2 turbo in need of help

The mr2 and celica engine is identical mate apart from a couple of brackets which bolt to the block. But even then the holes for both usages are there. The mr2 actually has the better cooling system because it uses 13ltrs compared to the celica 5ltrs. This is show as an advantage when pushing...

    crank puley

i've made a locking tool which is basically a large bar that bolts to the front of the pulley. Be careful yanking on it as you don't really want to spin the engine backwards as its common to get the timing belt to jump teeth as its designed to tension spinning clockwise. Tim TB Developments

TB Developments - EP91 (daily drive)

my version was the factory option unit for the glanza which just bolted straight into place. I couldn't really comment on if a different model would fit straight in Tim TB Developments

TB Developments - EP91 (daily drive)

It dyno'd barely over 200bhp and similar torque at 1.1bar maxing out the injectors. no not done alot. Its just hit 104k miles now so its getting a bit old so i will be revamping the suspension, and the gearbox could do with another overhaul as 3rd is starting to get a bit crunchy. got a few...
