    5efte unforged TD04 worth it??

I guess any set of forged pistons would be better than the stock 5ehfe pistons. But the hfe can apparently take boost very well as long as your tuner knows what he's doing.

    5E Build (recommendations)

The 5E is always installed in my car since last year, so the exhaust and down pipe has already been adjusted. I also have some bigger injectors, however since I use water meth, my tuner doesn't need the bigger injectors at the moment since that meth would compensate a little. I forgot to list...

    5E Build (recommendations)

Good day all. I currently have a 5EHFE as I was honestly a bit tired of trying with the 4EFTE. I prefer the 5E because of the increase of torque and the drivability of it daily in my opinion feels a lot better. Happy though because the 4EFTE and the 5E parts are more or less the same...

    5efte unforged TD04 worth it??

I have a 5ehfe and I can say it feels way better than the 4efte as a daily driver. I've been using the 5E for approx 6months+ now and I've not gotten any problems. My tuner adjusted everything that was needed and my car works great no issues. I currently have forged parts, due to thinking...

I had a CT9B and use to get boost from approx 2000RPM....the TD04 is way more fun though :D as you can hear actually spool up

Boost creep, but no FC. Any help?

If the boost gauge shows a steady increase, and it is firm and not flickering, i dont see it to be the boost gauge.

    td04 on tmic?

I've had a TMIC on a TD04, and well thanks to the hood vent I was able to survive, however I only kept the TMIC for a month or so, then I switched to FMIC. TMIC is shit indeed, FMIC FTW! if I were you, I would try to invest in a nice FMIC and save yourself the trouble and or risk.

    550cc Injectors

550's are the real deal, it wouldnt be too much, the injector duty cycle would jus be lower since the injectors are bigger, that isnt bad, less stress/strain on the injectors, plus these 550cc would come in handy when u are ready to run much more boost with a bigger turbo.

    where actuator pipe goes

The silicone hoses that you need to connect are as follows.. on the turbo you will see one line out, and on the actuator you may see 1 or 2 lines out.. ct9's sometimes come with 1 or 2 lines out from the actuator.. place one end of the hose onto the turbo itself and the other on the actuator...

    What td04 kit to use?

Just get a turbo from the subaru, get the TD04L from the WRX...its good if you can get a TD04L from a 2004+ WRX... You dont have to spend alot of money on a kit, you can get these items separately and save some cash, but i guess that would depend on the availability and prices of these items...

    loosing boost

There is a quick and cheap way to get away from this problem however... What Garry Goodall said is very true, these CT9's are so very old that in the year 2010, they become very weak, so you wont get more than 10psi past 5000RPM, if you are lucky you may get full boost up to 5800RPM, then it...
