Standard resistance values for a distributor coil

Distributors will generally wear out from age and corrosion from the high voltage going through it all the time it's in use. Open it up and share some pictures perhaps..? Also, you've mentioned the coil and the distributor.. so which is it..?

Anyone running the ME221 ECU from Motorsport electronics?

Greetings earthlings.. Sorry, I got a little too fat over Christmas from eating all the treats and couldn't do any sort of work due to sheer laziness.. hehehe Now I'm back and still cleaning up lots of electricals as the engine management was just but a slice of the larger tasks getting done on...

    Driveshaft ep82

All true.. hence my comment on bravery.. :) At times, you just need to get home or to the next shop where you can get a proper job done. I got to discover this at some point when I needed the rig running for a tarmac race event.. and no one had the inboard CVJ boots in stock. We got the closest...

TPS 3 Pin/4 Pin Voltage Output

The 3-pin is a switched (on/off) 12-volt DC signal. The 4-pin is what varies the 5-volt VCC signal.

Anyone running the ME221 ECU from Motorsport electronics?

Aha. I'm already on the CoP upgrade. Here's a WiP build album that I've not updated in a long minute.. but should give some insight for those who want to go the same route. I'm a cheapskate like that so reusing a lot of OE parts, even from other vehicles. Coils from Toyota. Harness plug...

    Drain fuel

While on the topic, how long is too long for fuel to go bad.. and yes yes.. I know, the environmental variables matter but in general, how long would you folks say is too long.. especially for you Ukay boys and girls with your 11.5-month wet weather life.. :p

Anyone running the ME221 ECU from Motorsport electronics?

Yes, the wideband needs to go on the board directly. By now, we can all agree nothing aftermarket is plug-&-play, even when they say it is.. hehehe  Care to share any images from your install..? Some cheat codes for you if you need. The onboard connector is compatible with any of the...

Anyone running the ME221 ECU from Motorsport electronics?

Well then. Fair warning as I'm just getting to this stage of the build. I've shaved down the two teeth so wish me luck. The ME221 ECM that I have was running on an engine before it came to me so I'm pretty confident that it will work for me as well. My dizzy before the butcher arrived.. :D...
