I have checked for a vac leak couldn't find one done a flash code test nothing came up cleaned the idle control valve but still my car is fine when its cold but when it warns s it idles at 1800rpm turn the car off and back on it hunts twice the high idle again! Its not jumping in the rev after...

I have a similar problem but my car only revs up when hot rev.s up to about 2k. i cleaned the idle control value but i was told to replace a valve to the right of the throttle body. Any know Wat this valve is? I don't know how to put up pics sorry

bump checked the coolant level and changed the termostat still the same!

ill give it a change see wat happens!! had a prob b4 wit the temostat b4 about a year ago but didnt cause the over reving i gettin when the cars warm! never overheats
