Found out the crank and rods are fooked in the GT i was going to buy so am now in need of an engine........ Its an L reg Starlet if that helps.... Please let me know

I used to own a Fiat Punto GT, which standard is roughly the same performance as a Starlet. Now with a chip, decat exhaust, FMIC and boost level raised to 1.2 bar could see between 160 - 170 bhp. Just wondering if there is a similar setup available for the Starlet.........

Well the starlet im getting has bottom end trouble and as such the shells are getting replaced....however my concern is that the crank may also be goosed..... So i need to know how strong the cranks are and the availability of them should i need one... The reason im getting the car is that...

Havent picked my Starlet GT up yet as im getting it off a friend, just waiting for the big ends to get done...... Hopefully have it by mid October.. If anyone can tell me the best mods etc to do with the car then that would be appreciated cheers Lee :cops:
